Over 520 cities are recognizing the “extra mile” efforts of volunteers and organizations in their local communities and have declared November 1st as Extra Mile Day.
In connection with Extra Mile America, mayors in all 50 states have embraced the “Extra Mile Day” movement. At a time when requests for local services exceeds budgets, Extra Mile Day celebrates the unselfish individuals and organizations that are stepping forward, serving and meeting local needs.
