Earlier this week at the City Commission meeting I announced Williston’s participation in a nationwide initiative, Extra Mile Day on November 1st. Extra Mile Day celebrates the ability we all have to create positive change in ourselves, our families, our organizations, and in our communities when we go the extra mile. The day is both to recognize the individuals and organizations who do so much in our community, but also to encourage volunteerism and service.
Extra Mile Day is an extension of Extra Mile America, a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals, organizations, and entire cities to go the extra mile.
