On November 1st, 550+ mayors from across the United States will declare “Extra Mile Day” and recognize the extra-mile volunteer heroes in their local communities. In association with Extra Mile America, mayors in large cities and small towns are making the November 1st declaration.
From Bangor, Maine, to Los Angeles, California, mayors will acknowledge the impact of local individuals and organizations who are “going the extra mile” in service and volunteerism in order to serve a need in their communities. [Read more…]
