WESTFIELD — In a Nov. 1 ceremony at the Westfield Senior Center, Mayor Michael McCabe announced that this year’s Volunteer of the Year awards go to Cheryl and Brian Richards, and Bill Westerlind.
McCabe also proclaimed them “Extra Mile Heroes,” as the ceremony took place on Extra Mile Day, a national initiative by Extra Mile America to celebrate those who “go the extra mile” in their communities. [Read more…]
