Although the audience was small during the regularly scheduled Roosevelt City Council meeting on Sept. 20, it was far from boring. In addition to the regular business conducted during the bi-monthly meetings such as the approval of minutes from past meetings, approving purchase orders and the city manager’s report, the council also discussed the annual Extra Mile Day proclamation.
