Soup kitchen volunteers, arts group leader cited with Westfield volunteer award

WESTFIELD — In a Nov. 1 ceremony at the Westfield Senior Center, Mayor Michael McCabe announced that this year’s Volunteer of the Year awards go to Cheryl and Brian Richards, and Bill Westerlind.

The city of Longview is opening nominations for the 2024 Extra Mile Award, which honors individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to the community, according to the news release.
