The nonprofit organization, whose mission is to empower individuals, communities and organizations to go the “extra mile” for themselves or others, has created Extra Mile Day that will occur on November 1. According to the press release issued Thursday, 400 mayors nationwide are expected to participate in the event, with 208 officially signed on.
